Trouble creating new pattern

I am trying to create a new pattern, but when it asks me to name my picture and put curser in box to type it, my keyboard wont show up. I couldnt get it to show up when trying to contact . It works on all my other apps, so I feel this is an app problem. How do I get this corrected. Thank you

    What is the URL of the page you are referring to? I'm not aware of any apps on this site that allow you to create a pattern. Do you mean the graph paper possibly?
