I'm starting a new project and thought I might use Sullivan Threads. Have any of you heard anything about them?

I used it one time. Was at a place that did not carry DMC. I only used it for about 75 stitches. I believe that the skein had a notation that said comparable to DMC #xxx

I have not found Sullivan Threads easy to find except online or needlework specialty stores.

Is there a reason you want to use Sullivan's instead of DMC? Like I said, I did use it once. I didn't have a problem with it. Most stitchers I know prefer DMC. Sullivan's is only a few cents cheaper and harder to find.
