Anchor checklist

Hi,
I looked to the Anchor checklist and I saw that many thread numbers are in duplicate or triplicate. Why is there identical color numbers for different shades of a color ? For example, number 267: it can be hunter green, avocado green or light avocado green. This could be a bit confusing to have 3 floss with the same number. Thanks in advance.

Andrée,
I believe DMC has 506 colors and Anchor only has 472 so the duplicates or triplicates as you stated will be more apparent due to this.
