Anchor black floss versus DMC black floss

Hi everyone,
Hope all of you stitchers are staying healthy and safe. I’m kind of new to this message board but I’m curious as to everyone’s’ opinion as to whether they consider through their stitching experience if the Anchor 6-strand BLACK (#403) is thicker and gives better coverage than DMC #310 black. I’ve been using the DMC 310 over the years and it seems over the last 3-4 years the DMC black has gotten thinner thereby causing me grief by allowing fabric ‘show-thru’ unless I add more strands.

I don't know about Anchor - never used it. I have no problem with DMC and mainly use that for regular pieces. But I do use specialty threads for special pieces.

I have used several different brands of black over the years and have found that if the floss is older it tends to not cover as well.
