Wonder if you could help? I bought a cross stitch set which was made in china by Joy Sunday. I am running out of certain colours on the pack it says ecology cotton floss. I bought DMC thread from my local craft shop and it is not the same (too thin) but the colours are the same as DMC and states the DMC numbers on the chart. Does anyone have any advice on what and where to purchase extra thread/floss from?

    So, if I understand correctly, the pattern provided the DMC equivalent colours, which you've bought already. And the colours match fine, but the problem is just that the DMC thread is too thin?

    Assuming you're already using two threads, could you not just add one or even two more strands to create a thicker thread? Go to top

    Hi Kate - I just started a Joy Sunday kit and decided that since it so difficult to locate the Ecology cotton floss, that I would use my DMC instead. Do you still need the Ecology cotton floss and if so, what colors do you need? Go to top
