DMC Floss Substitution Advice

Hello,
I need some advice on substituting DMC Floss 993 (vl aqua marine), 991 (dk aqua marine), and 958 (dk sea green). You see, I have a beautiful peacock cross stitch kit that I have started stitching and those 3 colors to me, look too green on the peacock and his feathers.
I already have 747 (vl turquoise), 598 (dk turquoise), 597 (turquoise), 3810 (med turquoise), and 3808 (ultra vd turquoise) that came with the kit so I guess my question is, would 3849 (lt teal green), 3848 (med teal green), 3847 ( dk teal green) look better than the above mentioned "too greens"? I know it's more or less a personal opinion but I'm wondering if the teal greens would blend with the turquoises or would it be too much blue..?
Any advice would be much appreciated and I thank you in advance to all who help!

    Michelle,
I looked through old magazines for peacock patterns and the colors were everywhere. I pulled out all the floss you mentioned and would use 3849, 3848, and 3847 since they are a little darker than the others. However, all the colors would look good after looking through the magazines and seeing the different ranges of colors used in peacocks.

      Anita,
Thank you so much! I really appreciate that you went through all that trouble to answer my questions...I'm stitching the Design Works, 2808 "Peacock" kit. It's one of the biggest projects that I've done here recently. I'm gonna take your advice and order the three skeins.
Again, thank you so much! I really appreciate it!

        Michelle,
You are welcome and I'm glad I could help. I looked the kit up online and the peacock is impressive. If I may make another suggestion since this project is your biggest, stitch the piece in stages so you don't get discouraged. What I mean by this is work one or two colors at a time, so you can keep track of where you are. I stitched "Freedom" by Kooler Design Studio, which was a challenge.
