Bucilla floss #2740 converting to dmc 3041

I finished Bucilla "I Didn't Do It" kit # 45518. Bucilla tells me floss # 2740 converts to DMC #3041. This color stands out too much in the finished work. It should be a lighter color.The picture on the kit cover shows a lighter color. Any ideas what DMC color i could use instead of 3041 ? The kit came with a small amount of a lighter color but not enough.

    These conversions came from Bucilla so I would suggest you contact Plaid the company and ask them.
