Vervaco kit floss help

I purchased the kit Loving Hands from 123 Stitch. I don't like using kit floss and I am planning on stitching this pattern 7 times and donating them to 7 different Crisis Pregnanty Centers in my area. The floss list just has names listed as the DMC floss. I looked up the names of each floss and pulled them and none of them match, so I have gone color by color (thankgoodness it only has 7 colors) and found all but one. Has anyone else used their own floss to stitch this chart> if so would you mind sharing what colors you used?

    That's the very reason I don't purchase kits! And most of the time they are too expensive.

    You might consider buying a DMC color card since you could match the Vervaco floss to the colors in the card. I have this card myself and it has come in handy for me. The following links have this color card for sale:

    I have matched the floss up to DMC for one of the kits though I also tried the easy way and emailed the company about it as I didn't like the provided matterial and started with something a bit bigger. I had no response from Vervace.
    My LNS was happy to help me match up the colors at the store. That may help you as there are only 7 colors. Good Luck

    Use whatever colors you want! You don't HAVE to use the same colors as the kit! I often change the colors in a project to customize it for the person that I'm giving it to. I like to match their decor or use their birthstone color, for example. Go to top
